Forests hold treasures of health benefits and healing properties. A recent study showed that Hinoki forests produce phytoncide that can cure asthma. The research team from KFRI found that Hinoki cypress leaves contained more phytoncide 3.9 times higher than pine leaves. The Congress will discuss on forest benefits in its theme “Forests, Human Health and Environmental Security”.
